Herb and Fruit Jellies

Bramley Apple based jellies

Rose Geranium ~ Great Taste Silver Award winner,fragrant, light jelly, delicious in tarts and trifles, on scones.
Mint ~ traditionally with lamb, try with fishcakes.
Rosemary ~ Great Tast Silver Award, lamb or poultry dishes, try a spoonful in home made tomato sauce.
Sage ~ with poultry, pork or cheeses.
Tarragon ~ fish or poultry, add to oil & vinegar for salad dressing.
Jalapeno ~ sweet and hot chilli, cold meats, cheeses, curries, add to stir fries.
Smoked chilli ~ add a spicy barbeque flavour to chops, sausages, roast veg., smear over meat before grilling.
Chilli and Coriander ~ hot and cold meats, cheeses, curries, stir fries, spread on chops before grilling.
Ginger ~ the only herb not grown on our smallholding, try with soft cheese, poultry, pork or fish. Delicious on toast.
Lavender ~ traditionally with venison or lamb, try on scones, in cakes or trifles.
Mint with a hint ~ of chilli, liven up curries, meats, cucumber salad, strawberries.
Thai ~ the Far Eastern flavour of laksa, made with home grown Vietnamese coriander, with ginger, chilli and garlic.
Gooseberry and Elderflower jelly ~ a taste of summer.
Plantation Cottage Jellies are presented in 227g hexagonal jars.

Quince, Medlar or Damson Jellies and cheeses ~ available Oct. in 120g pate jars, ideal for turning out onto a cheese platter, delicious with game, meats, cheeses, poultry.

Ideal for wedding favours or small gifts:
Jellies in small 50g jars with personalised label and organza bag, or decorated to customers design.
