Lynda's father began work on a Worcestershire farm as a young lad in 1947, tilling the fields with Shire horses. Forty years later, Lynda and partner Gary, found a smallholding a few miles from the family home.
Herbs were grown to sell at Farmer's Markets, during the winter Lynda made preserves using fruit from the hedgerows, and locally grown apples and herbs. Many customers came back for more, and soon farm shops and local delis stocked the preserves.
Gary's background is engineering, he converted an out-house into a small commercial kitchen, utilising second hand equipment and stainless steel work benches. Gary is also a registered gunsmith, restouring guns from treasured heirlooms to the old farm gun, with equal care.
